Abstract
Leakage of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is a possible complication of retromastoid posterior fossa surgery. However, delayed development of CSF rhinorrhea after microvascular decompression (MVD) is uncommon. A case of delayed CSF rhinorrhea that developed 2 years after MVD surgery is presented and discussed, with a literature review.
Key Words: Hemifacial spasm, CSF leakage, Posterior fossa surgery.
